Who Are You Uninterrupted?
Frequently Asked Questions
What is your availability?
Tuesday through Thursday daytime hours available. Contact me!
Where are you located?
I am located in Lincoln, Nebraska! However, I do offer sessions via telehealth as well. Telehealth sessions are similar to in-person sessions, but from the location of your choosing (within Nebraska state lines) using whatever device you are most comfortable with. I use Simple Practice or Google Meet, both HIPAA compliant and secure platforms for telehealth sessions. Ever video chatted with your family or friends? It’s very similar! All paperwork will be completed online as well!
Do you offer consultations?
Generally, no. Consultations are often used as a “test drive”. 15 minutes is not enough time to develop a trusting therapeutic relationship. I’m happy to answer any questions you have through email.
What insurance do you take?
So many! Check out the payment page!
What are your rates?
I offer discounted rates for private pay. Fees must be paid before each session.
I also accept referrals through Open Path Collective at a further reduced rate.
You have the right to, and will receive, a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) in accordance with the No Surprises Act effective 1/1/2022.
How does payment work?
If you are using insurance, I will ask that you check your copay before our first session. If you have a copay/deductible/cost share or you are private pay, you will place a credit/debit/HSA card on file through Ivy Pay, a HIPAA compliant payment application designed just for therapists to process payments with clients at the touch of a button. This saves time in session and keeps your information secure and confidential. Payment is due before each session if you’re private pay.
What can I expect from my first session?
I will send you a link through email to complete paperwork when you schedule your first appointment. You’ll e-sign a few forms and fill out a few questionnaires there. During your first session, we’ll discuss what brings you to therapy and what some of your goals might look like.
How long will I be in therapy?
Like most things in life, therapy doesn’t have a set timeline. You and I will work together to formulate goals. When you’ve met them, we can make more or you can “graduate” from therapy. When you think you’re done, you’re probably done. I’m just here to help guide you to that point.
